Embarking on a fitness journey can be intimidating, especially if you're new to the world of CrossFit. However, CrossFit is one of the most beginner-friendly fitness programs available, offering a supportive community, personalized plans, and structured onboarding to ensure you start strong and stay safe. At Rare Breed, we’ve designed a seamless process to welcome newcomers with open arms and set them up for success.

The No Sweat Intro

Your journey begins with our No Sweat Intro, a relaxed and informative session where we focus on understanding your goals, fitness background, and what you’re looking to achieve. This one-on-one meeting is all about you:

- Goal Setting: We discuss your fitness aspirations, whether it's losing weight, building muscle, improving overall health, or preparing for a specific event.
- Exploration: We delve into what motivates you, your previous experiences with fitness, and any concerns or questions you might have.
- Planning: Based on our conversation, we recommend the best plan tailored to your needs. This could be personal training for a more individualized approach or group classes if you thrive in a community setting.

The On-Ramp Program

Next, you'll enter our On-Ramp Program, a series of five personalized sessions with a dedicated coach. This program is designed to teach you the five foundational movements of CrossFit, ensuring you can perform them safely and confidently. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Squat: Learn the correct form for various squat exercises, which are fundamental for building lower body strength.
2. Press: Master the different types of pressing movements, essential for upper body strength and functional fitness.
3. Deadlift: Understand the mechanics of a proper deadlift, a key exercise for overall strength and posterior chain development.
4. Clean: Get acquainted with the clean, a dynamic movement that enhances power and coordination.
5. Snatch: Develop the technique for the snatch, one of the most challenging yet rewarding lifts in CrossFit.

Each session is focused on ensuring you perform these movements with proper form, minimizing the risk of injury and boosting your confidence.

Choosing Your Plan

Upon completing the On-Ramp Program, it’s time to choose the plan that best fits your lifestyle and goals. Whether you opt for personal training or group classes, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel. Our coaches are always available to provide guidance and support, helping you make the best choice for continued progress.
