Our On Ramp is tailored for beginners or anyone returning to fitness after a break. In this course, you’ll gain confidence, learn essential movements, and become familiar with our supportive community.
The On Ramp course consists of five 45-minute sessions led by an experienced coach, either one-on-one or in a small group. Each session covers foundational CrossFit movements and focuses on safe and effective technique, so you can approach workouts with strength and stability. Here's a session-by-session breakdown:
Session 1: Squat
We start with proper squatting form, a core CrossFit movement that activates your lower body and improves overall stability. You’ll learn how to squat safely and effectively, setting the tone for building lower-body strength.
Session 2: Overhead Presses
In this session, we’ll teach the strict press, push press, and push jerk. These movements help develop strength and coordination when lifting overhead, which is crucial for your CrossFit progress.
Session 3: Deadlifts
Deadlifts are essential for developing total body strength and proper posture. We’ll guide you through technique and form to lift safely and confidently.
Session 4: Snatch
The snatch is a complex, powerful lift that we’ll break down step-by-step. You’ll gain the confidence to approach this dynamic movement with control and efficiency.
Session 5: Cleans
In our final session, we’ll cover cleans, a movement that teaches power and coordination. Mastering this skill rounds out your CrossFit foundation.
The On Ramp course isn’t just about learning how to lift; it’s also a personalized experience. Your coach will take note of your mobility, any previous injuries, and how you move.
